Superb late Victorian era old mine cut diamond cluster brooch. Rare and only increasing in value. This brooch contains 18 old mine cut diamonds at 2.15 ctw. set into acid tested 14k Yellow gold long prong claw type settings. The brooch measures 1 " long x 3/8"wide total . The diamonds are very beautiful in color and clarity, bright and full of flash and fire. Total weight is 3.3 g. The clasp is a newer replacement and in fine working condition. The diamonds have had prong re-tip and reinforcement. A well loved heirloom for centuries to come! The brooch would make a dreamy ring or pendant with just a little creativity and a wonderful bench jeweler!
