Paper lot from Technical Sergeant Harold Holtsclaw of the 480th Anti Submarine Group. His plane went missing over the Atlantic and was last heard from on September 18, 1943 after messaging that they were engaging enemy aircraft. The group includes his oriignal Missing in Action Telegram, Purple Heart Certificates, letters from notables about his death, as well as a variety of paperwork, articles, settlement papers, colorized portrait photo, High School diploma, war death accolade, and more.
