A nice find not seen on the open market. 1930s France Royal Family Army Bring Back Souvenir Poster Named. Jean III Heir to the 40 Kings who in a thousand years destroyed France (translation). House of France Royal Family circa 1930. Named to Army Lieutenant H. Otis Woodruff, Quartermaster Battalion. This item was sent through the mail to most likely Woodruffs parents. Based on the 1938 (8 cent) Van Buren postage stamps this item was mailed somewhere between 1938 to early 1940s. There are creases from this item being mailed and marks from age, wear and use.
