Striking Porcelain and Bronze Cherub Vase
Up for auction is an exceptional porcelain vase. The vase’s body sits on top of a flared stem, and a bronze square base. This piece is highlighted by the incredibly detailed bronze handles exemplifying femininity. The teal color of the vase is striking and sophisticated, creating a vivid backdrop for the piece’s hand painted motif. Each side depicts a different classical Rococo scene, with individuals and cherubs set in nature and interacting with the elements. The vase is executed in shades of blue, red, and yellow. It’s completely painted by hand and composed of porcelain with bronze details. The vase measures 34 inches in height by 12 inches in width and is truly striking.
