Signature of Rabbi Yosef Yekuel, one of the sages of Turkey, author of the book Mate Yosef. And glosses. Divrei Shlomo 'Frankfurt Deodor 1753.
Divrei Shlomo's book on the Torah by Rabbi Shlomo Shalem. "Single Edition." Frankfurt Deodor 1753. Originally: [2], 108, [3] pages; This copy is missing the last 3 pages. 32.5 cm. Old cover damaged and detached. Title page torn and mostly missing. Severe moisture damage. Tears and moth damage. Poor condition.
On page 2, a slightly erased signature: "Yosef Yekuel", is the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Yekuel Av Beit Din of Sofia, author of the book "Mate Yosef" sermons and responsa (Saloniki 1785). Inside the book are handwritten notes (possibly in the handwriting of Rabbi Yosef Yekuelesh). Another signature on the title page of the book: "Yauda Bachar Yaakov vearon...".
