2 early German Christian texts. The first text is a full calf version of Anfang und Fortgang Wahrer Gottseligkeit, in der menschlichen Seele/The Beginning and Progress of True Godliness by Doddridge. This is a fantastic early American version printed in Harrisburg in 1823. Has foxing to the pages and wear to the cover consistent with age but the covers and spine are solid. There is some loss to the first page. The second text is a German devotional - Elternworte an theure Kinder:Der sichere Fuhrer auf dem Lebenswege/Parent's words to their children, Guide on the path of life printed in Lake Zurich in 1858. Has foxing to the pages and the covers & spine have completely removed from the book. The first and last few pages have also come loose. All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale.
