Ranger VII Lunar Charts RLC 2 - 5
A rare set of Ranger VII Lunar Charts. On July 31, 1964, Ranger VII approached the Moon precisely on target and transmitted 4,308 images in the 15 minutes before it impacted the Lunar Surface on the Northern rim of the Sea of Clouds. These images, which showed the Lunar Surface in stunning detail, were the harbinger of future human exploration of the Moon. There are four vintage charts in this set labeled Ranger Lunar Chart RLC 2 through 5. Each chart is in very good condition to near mint condition. The charts measure 22" x 31". These are double sided charts.
