Mercury Flown Heat Shield Lucite
A vintage NASA Lucite containing a section of Flown Ablative Heat Shield from an unknown Mercury Spacecraft flight. This would have been affixed to a wooden plaque with the mission information printed on it. Unfortunately, the Lucite and the plaque have been separated and there is no way to know what Mercury mission this is from. The Lucite measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/2".
