Hector Cata Cuban Master Painter Cata was born in Havana, Cuba on April 3, 1947. He graduated from San Alejandro School of Plastic Arts in Havana in 1972. He served as Artistic Director of the Lenin Park in Havana where he taught in the pottery studio and gallery "Amelia Pelaez" of this school.
