3-Piece Relic w/ Seal of Nicolaus Ferrante
3-piece relic in reliquary & certificate of authenticity document issued by Nicolaus Ferrante, Postulator General of the Servants of Mary and the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer. The relic pieces are said to be from the tomb of Jesus Christ (Sepulcri D.N.J.), the crown of thorns (Corona Spinae D.N.J.), & the pillar where Jesus was scourged (Columna Flagellatonis). The certificate confirms that the relic particles are enclosed in a metal theca (reliquary) w/ a crystal window, bound w/ red silk thread, & sealed w/ the seal of the office. Document is in Latin & was issued in Rome. Reliquary is approx. 1.25" in diameter.
