Inuit Eskimo Fishing Lure Artifact
Fossilized walrus bone fish lure decoy with engraved marking. From Savoonga, Alaska in the St. Lawrence Island area. Inuit, Inupiak made. Longest lure measures approx 3 5/8" L. Estimated to be approx 500+ years old (Old Bering Sea). The lure has engraving on both sides (appears to be a kayak). In as found condition.
