Seth Thomas (U.S) Sonora Chime Mantle Clock
A U.S made early 20th century Seth Thomas Sonora Chime mantle clock. Clock measures approx. 13.5" height x 10" wide x 7" deep. Face is worn, but the case is in great condition with silvered dials and decorative inlay on the front and around the base. Clock still chimes, and has a working quarter hour chime. Winding key and pendulum are included in the lot (in back of case). Condition is as seen in photography. Seth Thomas (1785-1859) was a clockmaker in the U.S, and a pioneer in the mass production of clocks with his Seth Thomas Clock Company.
