CROWN DEVON (Fieldings) DRAGON TRINKET TRAYS (2).
(The Crown Devon journey began in 1870 when Simon Fielding invested in the Railway Works on Sutherland Street, Stoke on Trent, but within a short period of time the bailiffs came in and the firm was rescued by Simon’s son, Abraham.
They then began to produce the popular Majolica glazed pottery under the S. Fielding & Co backstamp. As orders flourished in the late 1880s, Crown Devon produced their popular Vellum range, which rivalled Doulton’s Spanish ware and Royal Worcester’s blush ivory ware, and was exported to many countries worldwide.)
