Sefer Megillat Taanit with two commentaries: one by Rabbi Yaakov Emden (Yaavetz) and the other by Rabbi Aharon HaLevi, along with the *HaChut HaMeshulash* commentary HaEshle by Rabbi Avraham Eliyahu Bornstein.


Jerusalem, 1908. First Edition. Includes enthusiastic endorsements from Jerusalem’s prominent rabbis.


HaEshle Commentary – a comprehensive and foundational commentary on Megillat Taanit, with much of the text dedicated to the topic of Chanukah.


Signed on both title pages by the Holy Gaon & Tzadik Rabbi Eliezer David Greenwald, with his stamp from the years he was rabbi of Tzehlim & it's environs.


The Holy Gaon & Tzadik Rabbi Eliezer David Greenwald was a rabbi and head of a yeshiva in the cities of Tzehlim (today Deutschkreutz in Austria), Oberwischau (Upper Vishuvah) and Satmar in Transylvania. He is known for his Sefer 'Keren L'David'. Brother of Rabbi Moshe Greenwald, author of "Arugat HaBosem".


Two title pages, the first featuring red-green colors, and following the title page is a beautiful green-colored illustration for Lamenatzeach (Psalm 67).
