Signatures of the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Yaakov Neuschloss, Ab''d Szerdahely, and his grandson, the Tzadik Rabbi Amram Neuschloss of Paks, among others. Reishit Chochma, Fürth 1763.
Sefer Reishit Chochma, a work on Jewish ethics by Rabbi Eliyahu de Vidas, a student of the Ramak, was printed in Fürth in 1763 and includes significant approbations for this edition.

Signature on the flyleaf of his grandson, the renowned tzaddik Rabbi Amram Neuschloss of Pressburg and Paks.
With a a long and interesting inscription by his grandson: "This Reishit Chochma belonged to my great-grandfather, the esteemed and famous Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Neuschloss, of blessed memory, known as 'Reb Yaakov Vetch' after his birthplace. He was one of the great students of the Chasam Sofer. See the Minhagei Chasam Sofer for what is written about him and the Gaon, the author of Imrei Eish.
And he was the Av Beit Din of Szerdahely and was forced to leave due to a dispute. He left behind many manuscripts, which are now scattered. There are also several pamphlets, most of them on halacha . Initially, they were in my possession, but now they are in the possession of my uncle, the rabbinic scholar, etc., our teacher, Rabbi Amram Neuschloss, , may he live long, in the holy community of Paks. However, one pamphlet is still in my possession.

The Holy Gaon Rabbi Yosef Yaakov Neuschloss was Born in Vágvecse near Pressburg in 1795. He studied at the Yeshiva of Maran the Chasam Sofer in Pressburg. At the age of 25, he was appointed as a dayan in Szerdahely and later became the rabbi of the city. Among his students was Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Segal Bilitzer, rabbi of Nádudvar and author of the sefer "Be'er Yitzchak." Due to a dispute, Rabbi Yosef Yaakov left Szerdahely and returned to Óbuda, where he served as a rabbi and teacher.

The esteemed Chatam Sofer had two outstanding disciples, who, when they grew and became great rabbis, he honored them so much that he refrained from calling them 'my students' due to their greatness—these disciples were Rabbi Yosef Yaakov Neuschloss and the Maharam Ash (Rabbi Meir Eisenstadt). The Tzadik Rabbi Amram Neuschloss Hy''d (1881-1944), the grandson of Rabbi Yosef Yaakov, was the son of the pious Rabbi Gabriel Neuschloss of Pressburg and the righteous Rebbetzin Zissel. He studied under his uncle, Rabbi Moshe Greenwald, in Kleinwardein, and became known as a great scholar and a righteous individual. He was deeply devoted to his studies and was revered by his peers. Rabbi Amram later accompanied his teacher, Rabbi Greenwald, to Khust, where he continued his studies and spiritual development. He was known for his humility and saintliness, and his teacher, Rabbi Greenwald, held him in high regard.

His grandson Chaim Azriel Stern Hy''d of Pressburg, was a student of the Yeshiva of Chachmei Lublin.
Overall Great condition, some marginal water stains, title page has a marginal tear, new blue binding.
