The Rayatz of Lubavitch (2:853) writes about the Sefer Shlah printed in the same year : “The symbol of Nachat points to the fact that the reveal of this holy book led to “a pleasant [nachat] spirit” from above, and in that year the Baal Shem Tov was born''.
Dedication By Rebbe Yisrael Shmuel Neuhaus (1871-1943) of Tomaszow-Chelm to his cousin Rebbe Yosef Hager. Stamps of the Rebbe in Russian.
He was a son of Rebbi Aryeh Leib, rabbi of Tomashov.
