Tikkunei HaZohar printed by the grandsons of the Rav of Slavuta, Zhitomir 1865- Approbation by Rebbe Aharon of Chernobyl
With an approbation by Rebbe Aharon of Chernobyl (mechutan of Rebbe Yehoshua Heshel), in praise of the printers and this superior edition, in which mistakes that had crept into previous editions were corrected. The approbation concludes with blessings for "lengthy and good life, and may G-d shower you with goodness, both in material and spiritual matters, with sons, life and plentiful sustenance ".
Seforim that were printed by the Rav of Slavuta and his grandsons were known for their special virtue. The printing press was of the highest quality at that time and its books were known as a welcome sight. Moreover, their printing was done in extreme purity and holiness, even the printing blocks being immersed in a Mikveh before being used. It is common knowledge by Tzaddikim that possessing a book that was printed in Zhitomir is a Segulah for an abundance of blessing and success.
Overall in good condition, water stains, first 20 pages with stain in margin, later binding.
