Stamped on title page with the personal stamp of Rabbi Yeshaya Steiner of Kerestir (1851–1925).
Known by all as “Reb Shaya'le Kerestirer, ” He was renowned as a pillar of charity and kindness. His home was open to all; he hosted many guests at his meals and distributed large sums to charity. He was a close disciple of Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Liska and was ordained by the Admorim of Sanz and Nadvorna. His name spread far and wide as a holy miracle-worker, bringing thousands to his door for help and salvation. To this day, thousands of Jews flock to his grave to pray for help, guidance and salvation.
