MIXED MEDIA PAINTING SIGNED HANS BISCHOFFSHAUSEN
A mixed media painting on masonite board depicting an abstract composition. Signed, Bischoffshausen, lower right. Framed. Hans Bischoffshausen, 1927 to 1987, is known for Abstract. Hans Bischoffshausen was born in 1927, in Feld am See Karnten, Austria. An encounter with the work of Lucio Fontana, the great Italian champion, led Hans to an artistic turn. Prior to their meeting, Hans Bischoffshausens work was dark and a material slaughter in asphalt, ashes, varnish and tin. After, it was bright, often white and yet unfathomable. Hans and Lucio held several joint exhibitions. European Fine Art, Abstract and Figurative Paintings, and Collectibles. One of a kind artwork.
