19TH CEN RUSSIAN CHRIST ICON IN 84 SILVER OKLAD
An antique Russian Orthodox hand painted icon of Christ Pantocrator. Circa: the late 19th century. The oil painting on wooden panel with a velvet back. Presented in a gilt silver riza or oklad with repousse decor. Titled in Church Slavonic in the bottom to the center. Hallmark of 84 silver standard, makers marks, and other marks are on the front of the riza. Antique Russian Orthodox Icons, Religious Wares and Paintings For Collectors.
