GERMAN WWII MODEL WELFARE CROSS MEDAL
A WWII Nazi German model Social Welfare cross medal. This cross is one of the rarer German WWII civil badges. The award is a gold tone cross covered with white enamel, featuring a superimposed emblem of a Reichsadler eagle holding a swastika, covered with black enamel. Marked to the backside. The award was introduced to recognize German citizens for meritorious services in welfare, such as the Winterhilfswerk winter charities. There were four classes of this award. Second World War Historical Collectibles And Memorabilia, Military Uniform Accessories, Awards And Badges.
