ATTR TO CHARLES J MOVALLI AMERICAN OIL PAINTING
Attributed to Charles J. Movalli, American, 1945 to 2016, oil painting on board depicting a stream landscape. Signed lower left. Framed. Additionally inscribed, on the backside. Charles Movalli is known for Town-landscape and coastal view painting. Born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, Charles Movalli has earned a reputation for plein air painting, which includes the conducting of summer workshops in Gloucester, Massachusetts. He has written several books on artists for Watson Guptill including Emile Gruppe, Roger Curtis, and Betty Schlemm. He was active in the North Shore Arts Association and the Hudson Valley Art Association. Modern American Fine Art, Landscape Paintings, Wall Art, and Collectibles. One of a kind artwork.
