A vintage Russian Soviet propaganda poster by Pyotr Krivonogov, 1910 to 1967. State Publishing House Iskusstvo, Moscow, Leningrad, 1947. Printing House Iskra Revolyutsii, Moscow. Edition of 195,000. The poster depicts a worker climbing a ladder, pointing to the text at the top: Let us fulfill the plan for the second year of Stalins new five year plan ahead of schedule. The inscription at the bottom: Let us worthily celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the great October. Krivonogov, Pyotr Alexandrovich is an outstanding Soviet battle painter and graphic artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Honored Artist of the USSR, 1955. Laureate of the Stalin Prize, second degree, 1947. Awarded the Order of the Red Star. Soviet Historical Collectables, Wall Prints.
