RUSSIAN PORTRAIT OIL PAINTING BY MIHAIL ZVIAGIN
Mihail Zviagin, Russian, born 1931, an oil painting on canvas depicting a portrait of a lady, 2011. Signed and dated, upper left. Framed. Additionally signed in Cyrillic and in Latin, and dated, on the backside. Mikhail Leonidovich Zvyagin is a Soviet artist, sculptor, writer and collector. Born in Leningrad, St. Petersburg, in 1931. Currently lives in the USA. Mikhail Zvyagins works are represented in museum funds and collections of the Russian Museum, the Hermitage, the Norton Dodge Museum of Modern Art, the Berlin Wall Museum, museums in Omsk, Tula, Voronezh, Smolensk, as well as a number of private collections in Western Europe and the USA. One of a kind artwork.
