IMPERIAL RUSSIAN SILVER GEM STONES KOVSH BY KHLEBNIKOV
An Imperial Russian gilt silver kovsh, of a traditional form, the body is adorned with raised Neo Russian patterns covered with polychrome enamel and set with semiprecious stones, garnets and a moonstone to the front side. The wide flat handle is decorated in the same style. Raised on a spread foot. Hallmarked with an Imperial Russian 84 silver standard and the Cyrillic makers mark, Khlebnikov. Ivan Khlebnikov is a jewelry company founded in 1871 in Moscow, which gained fame for making jewelry from gold, silver and precious stones. Winner of various awards at international and Russian exhibitions. Supplier of the Court of His Imperial Majesty.
