GERMAN WWII MODEL LUFTWAFFE PARATROOPERS GRAVITY KNIFE
A World War II Nazi German Third Reich period model Luftwaffe Paratroopers gravity knife. Wooden handle, stainless steel blade, and fittings. The blade is released by the lever on the side of the handle and slides in and out using gravity. There is a spike on the side and a swiveling loop on the tip of the handle. Marked, R. B. N. R. 0 0561 0019. Numbered 612. This type of knives was introduced in 1937 and issued to the Luftwaffe Fallschirmjaeger, or paratroopers.
