Edward Hlavka, an American Modern artist, patinated bronze sculpture, The Favorite, 1987. Signed, E. Hlavka, copyright, 87, numbered AP 21, on the sculpture. Mounted on a rectangular shaped wooden stand. Born in Deadwood, South Dakota, Ed Hlavka began pinching clay and developing an interest in sculpture at ten years of age. His unique ability to portray characterizations delight the many people across the country who view and collect his art.
