WESTERN BRONZE SCULPTURE AFTER FREDERIC REMINGTON
Brown-patinated bronze sculpture after Frederic Remington, 1861 to 1909, an American artist who specialized in the genre of Western, depicting cowboys, American Indians, and the US Cavalry. The artwork depicts a man riding a horse down a cliff. Titled The Mountain Man. Modeled 1903, cast posthumously. Signed by the artist on the bottom. The horses tail is missing. The figurine is mounted on a serpentinite stone base. Collectible Americana, Sculpture And Decor.
