ANTIQUE GRAND TOUR ROMAN SILVER COIN REPRODUCTIONS
A pair antique late Grand Tour era high grade silver reproductions of an Ancient Roman coins, 1st century AD. First. Denarius of Septimius Severus, with seated Pax holding olive branch on the reverse. Second. Denarius of Vespasian, with seated Pax and inscription Romae Aetarnae on the reverse. Total Weight: 5 grams. Grand Tour was the 17th to early 19th-century custom of a traditional trip through Europe, with Italy as a key destination, undertaken by upper-class young European men.
