ANTIQUE CARVED BAMBOO BRUSH POT WITH ZINC INSERT
An antique brush pot crafted from bamboo. The exterior of the brush pot features delicate and intricate carvings that depict scenes from nature, folklore, or daily life. The carvings are a testament to the creativity and craftsmanship of the late 19th century period. The pot has marks of xylophages. A long deep crack is completely normal and a good indicator of age. A bottom part with nodal bamboo is broken, which is also a good legit sign of age. Adding to its functionality, the brush pot also includes a zinc insert, allowing it to be used for its original purpose of holding brushes or other writing instruments.
