Pieter Johannes Alexander Wagemans, Dutch, 1879 to 1955, oil painting on canvas depicting a rural village scene. Signed lower right. Framed. Provenance: World Auction Gallery LLC, East Meadow, NY, United States, October 30, 2022, lot 108. Pieter Wagemans is known for Canal view cityscape, marien and still life painting. Netherlands Painter, originally a house and decoration painter, later active as a painter, he mainly painted cityscapes of Delft, Haarlem, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and his hometown The Hague. One of a kind artwork.
