ITALIAN CAPODIMONTE PORCELAIN BASKET WITH FLOWERS
A vintage Italian Capodimonte hand painted polychrome porcelain figural group depicting a basket with colorful flowers. Circa: 1950s to 1970s. Mark with a gold tone paper label, on the bottom. Capodimonte porcelain is porcelain created by the Capodimonte porcelain manufactory, which operated in Naples, Italy, between 1743 and 1759. Capodimonte is the most outstanding factory for early Italian porcelain, the Doccia porcelain of Florence being the other main Italian factory. Capodimonte is most famous for its moulded figurines. Vintage, Mid Century, Modernist Ceramic and Porcelain Figurines, Figural Group, Home Decor, Interior Design, and Collectibles.
