ANTIQUE CHINESE TANG DYNASTY CHANGSHA WARE FIGURE
An ancient Chinese stoneware figure, also known as Changsha ware. Tang Dynasty, 618 to 907. The item is a handled childrens toy, a reclining human figure with underglaze decor. Changsha was a kiln area situated in South China, active by the end of the Tang Dynasty and declined after Five Dynasties era. Collectible Oriental Kiln Pottery, Chinese Applied Arts.
Dimensions: 1 3/4 x 2 x 1 1/4 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Good antique condition. Signs of age and wear. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
