An antique four-volume edition of the Small Encyclopaedic Dictionary of Brockhaus and Efron, 2nd edition revised and updated, published in Russian by Brockhaus and Efron in St. Petersburg, 1907 to 1909. This is a short version of The Brockhaus and Efron Encyclopedic Dictionary, Russian: Entsiklopedicheskiy slovar' Brokgauza I Yefrona, a comprehensive multi-volume encyclopedia in Russian published in Imperial Russia in the late 19th and early 20th century as a joint venture of Leipzig and St. Petersburg publishers.
