RUSSIAN PORTRAIT PAINTING COUPLE ANATOLY ZVEREV
Anatoly Timofeevich Zverev, Russian, 1931 to 1986, an oil on cardboard double portrait painting depicting a couple. Signed by the artist lower right. Additionally signed to the back. Provenance: From the Collection of Stas Namin. Zverev was a member of the non-conformist movement and a founder of Russian Expressionism in the 1960s. He did not have a solo show in Russia until shortly before his death and his work was exhibited in small, underground galleries. Female Portrait Paintings And Russian Art Collectibles.
