VINTAGE WHITTALL AND SHON SUNDAY EVENTS RED HAT

A vintage American Whittall and Shon Sunday Events red hat adorned with rhine stones and sequins. Made of polyester exclusive of trim. Size: 22,5. Made in the U.S.A. Marked with original labels inside, numbered RN #72242, UCC # 720450. Presented in a carrying box. Provenance: The present lot on auction form part of the Kuranda's family estate. The provenance of items can be tracked back to Felix Kuranda in XIX Century Austrian Empire, member of a well known family of bankers and politicians; directly related to the Karpeles, Wittelshofer, Milne And Lederer families. The most chronological recent lots are former belongings from USA veteran Major Thom Stellinger-Scott related through marriage with the Kuranda lineage. He was a veteran of Korean War as well as a reputed amateur photographer and artist. The Stellinger-Scott family resided for decades at Montauk Long Island NY.
