SET OF STERLING CAGED GLASSWARE ITEMS, CA 1940S
A set of 1940s Art Nouveau style glassware items decorated with sterling silver overlays, presumably American. Includes a candy bowl with a stemmed vase raised on a large round plate, a handled centerpiece or sandwich tray, a large oval dish decorated with a grapes and leaves pattern, a sauce jug, two creamers and a two handled sugar bowl. Some marked: Sterling. Two major companies produced these items in USA: Paden City Sterling Silver Overlay Spire Glass and SILVER CITY GLASS CO. Collectible Glassware, Decorative Cookware, Tableware And Serveware.
