Attributed to Fritz Wilhelm Pfeiffer, American, 1889 to 1960, oil painting on board depicting the head of a stallion horse. Signed lower left. Framed. Provenance: Akiba Antiques, Dania Beach, FL, United States, August 30, 2022, lot 609. Fritz Pfeiffer was an American abstract artist known for modernist landscapes and geometric abstractions. A prominent member of the art associations of his native York, Pennsylvania, and his long-time home in Provincetown, Massachusetts. One of a kind artwork.
