ANTIQUE RUSSIAN WOOD ARMCHAIR AND SOFA SET
A pair of antique Russian patinated wood armchair and a sofa. The chairs are adorned with bronze elements, hand-carved foliage and scrollwork patterns, a figural symbol in the shape of roses and torches on the top, and fabric upholstered with a striped pattern. Mounted on small wheels. Unmarked. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. Antique and Vintage Wood Chairs, Sitting Furniture, Home Decor, Interior Design, and Collectibles. Provenance: Anna Feltsman Estate. Feltsman family: Oscar Feltsman, 1921 to 2013, was a Russian composer of Jewish descent born in Odessa. He was the father of Vladimir Feltsman, born in 1952 a Russian-American classical pianist. Anna Feltsman was the first wife of Vladimir Feltsman.
