An early 20th century silver tea and coffee service by Gorham Manufacturing. All the items are decorated with engraved monograms. Includes a teapot, a coffee pot, a sugar bowl, and a cream pitcher. Marked on the base with the manufacturers sterling silver stamps. The Gorham Manufacturing Company is one of the largest American manufacturers of sterling and silverplate and a foundry for bronze sculpture. Gorham Silver was founded in Providence, Rhode Island, 1831 by Jabez Gorham, a master craftsman, in partnership with Henry L. Webster. Silver weight: 2916 g.
