The second is pencil painting on paper, French and English; signed and dated 1833, lower left; titled lower to the center. Christina Robertson is known for Portrait painting. During this time interest in her work increased, and among her distinguished patrons were the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland, the Countess of Sheffield, Lord Powerscourt and Viscountess Barrington.
