ANTIQUE ROYAL COPENHAGEN PORCELAIN SOLDIER WITCH
An antique Royal Copenhagen porcelain over glaze decorated figural group depicting a soldier and a witch inspired by The Tinderbox, a literary fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen about a soldier who acquires a magic tinderbox capable of summoning three powerful dogs to do his bidding. Marked to the underside with the manufacturer stamp and the model number 1112. Circa the 1900s. Antique Danish Porcelain Figurine Collectibles.
