PORCELAIN TURTLE SHELL LIDDED DISH WITH GILT BASE
A large vintage dish or box executed in the form of a sea turtle. The base or hot stand representing the head and limbs of the animal is made of gilded metal. The turquoise porcelain dish represents a turtle shell. The lid is topped with bamboo sticks. Hallmark CLE 2006 is on the bottom of the dish, hallmark NY is embossed on the bottom of the stand.
