Vladimir Vasilievich Lebedev, Russian, Soviet, 1891 to 1967, watercolor and ink painting on paper depicting a male figure of a sailor, a fashion clothing design in the Avant Garde manner. Unsigned. Framed. Vladimir Vasilyevich Lebedev was a Russian and Soviet avant garde painter, poster and graphic artist, book and magazine illustrator, caricaturist, founder of the Leningrad school of book graphics. Peoples Artist of the RSFSR, 1966, Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Arts, 1967. One of a kind artwork.
