ANTIQUE BRONZE SPHINX STAND W GLASS CENTERPIECE
An antique 19th-century French red glass centerpiece bowl with hand-painted gilt ornament supported by the wings of four bronze Egyptian sphinx figures covered in brown patina. The sphinxes are mounted on a square beige marble stand that is also decorated with gilded bronze relief elements. Sphinx is a popular motif of the Empire style that flourished in Europe in the first half of the 19th century. Collectible Antique Bronze Decor Items.
