CUBIST FEMALE BRASS FIGURE AFTER ARCHIPENKO
A Modern brass figure in the shape of a Cubist female nude figure. The figure is made in the manner of Alexander Archipenko, 1887 to 1964. Circa: 20th century. Mounted on a marble stand. Alexander Archipenko was an outstanding Ukrainian born, Russian, French, American avant garde artist and sculptor, one of the greatest masters of cubism. Alexander Archipenko used voids in his works in an original way and skillfully mixed different genres, and also created many works in the styles of realism and constructivism.
