FRENCH BRONZE ARCHER SCULPTURE BY LUCIEN GIBERT
Lucien Gibert, French, 1904 to 1988, patinated bronze sculpture, Archer. Signed with a cast signature on the base. Mounted on a marble stand. Lucien Gibert is an outstanding French sculptor, known for Art Deco figure sculpture, a graduate of the Higher National School of Fine Arts. Among his mentors were such outstanding masters of sculpture as Aristide Maillol and Charles Despiau. Gibert masterfully handles natural stone, he created many monuments and memorials made of marble. Antique and Vintage European French Bronze Sculptures, Statuettes, Statues, Figures, Home Decor, and Collectibles.
