An antique late 19th century cast bronze ewer by Jeanne Jozon, French, 1868 to 1946, with a beautiful Art Nouveau style design depicting a female in a profile hiding among thistle leaves. The handle is made in the form of a thistle bud on a curved stem. Inscribed: J.JOZON, Salon des Beaux Arts, and bearing an incised number 7831 and a Bronze Garanti au Titre C and L Deposée mark on the bottom.
