FEMALE PORTRAIT PAINTING SIGNED ELEANOR BURNETTE
Mixed media painting depicting a portrait of a nude woman. Red and yellow color palette. Signed, titled Affection, and dated 2003 on the backside. White wooden frame. Eleanor Burnette, 1944 to 2020, Afro American female artist. After graduating from Chicago State University in 1976, the artist moved to Princeton where she studied under the guidance of Chaim Gross. Burnette experimented with different techniques and participated in numerous exhibitions including events at Virginia Lynch Gallery in Tiverton, Carrier Fine Art Festival, UFA Gallery, and others. African American Mixed Media Art For Collectors. Provenance: Artist studio and Estate.
