ANTIQUE JAPANESE LEATHER TOBACCO PURSE W MENUKI
An antique Japanese Meiji Period tobacco or opium purse or pouch. The purse is made of embossed black leather. The purse is adorned with a gilt mixed metal Menuki fitting in the shape of a dragon. The Menuki fitting is marked with an impressed stamp. Several chains with a metal bead. Circa: 19th to early 20th century.
